Tardy Sweeps
Families, Kealing administrators and teachers want to congratulate your children for their hard work in learning their schedules and getting to class on time. Every minute of classroom instruction is essential for academic success.

Beginning next week, we will begin tardy sweeps in order to preserve the learning environment. When the late bell rings in a tardy sweep, all teachers are instructed to lock their doors. Any student found to be in the hallway without a pass will be given a lunch detention. Tardy sweeps will occur periodically throughout the year and at various times throughout the day.

Please encourage your child to be on time to each and every class. Thank you for your help!

Middle school cross country races are 2 miles. We will train/compete 2-3 times a week. The time commitment is not much and will not prevent kids from playing another sport or joining another club. Practices are held Tuesday and Thursday after school from 3-4:15 with an occasional optional Sunday morning run. Meets will be held on Friday afternoons or Saturday mornings and are not mandatory.
