Recognize Your 8th Grader
Yearbook staff is really trying to get the word out about eighth grade tribute ads--a new edition to our publication this year. These ads, very similar to the ads families and friends might place at the end of a playbill, will be printed in Kealing's 2016-17 yearbook, to be cherished forever.
Ads can be placed by parents for their children, or placed by groups of friends who get together to commemorate this special occasion.
Prices start at just $30. The deadline is 1/15. Order today at: www.jostens.com
Watch this short KBTV feature for more information.
![]() Chess Club

If you would like to play in the tournament and represent Kealing, please see Mrs. Girardeau in room 512 this week. AISD Future
The Facility Condition Assessment and the Educational Suitability Report are now available. These reports give an overview of Kealing's current campus conditions and will help inform the district's long-range facility planning as we work to envision the future of Austin ISD.
The minutes from the Facilities and Bond Planning Advisory Committee (FABPAC) Meeting meetings can be found here. They include the recommendations presented by the consultants. AISD is working diligently to make informed recommendations that will inform the next 20+ of improvement in the district. Stay tuned for more info!

KMAG ANNOUNCEMENTS
Shadowing Volunteer Needed
The KMAG Shadow Committee is looking for a volunteer to set up Sign Up Genius for our parent volunteers' shifts. This should be set up by mid-December. We will have all of the dates/shift times for you. This is an easy task one can do from home. This person, ideally, will monitor it as well during the shadowing period in late January and February in case volunteers are having issues signing up for shifts. Please let us know if this interests you (Rob_Molly_Kohler@sbcglobal.net)
Thank you,
Molly Kohler and Gina Vance
