Back-to-School Luncheon for Kealing Staff

New Business Supporter Program
The PTA is now offering local businesses ways to support the school and receive recognition at Kealing. We are also excited to be offering new Kealing Supporter signs for all of our business donors! If you are interested in helping visit local businesses in August or September, please contact Lynn Boswell at kealing.business@gmail.com.

Membership Outreach and Hospitality
Do you like meeting new people? Do you like you bake? Or can you help pick up early morning coffee donations? If yes to any of the above, we hope you will consider signing up to help out with the PTA's fall membership drive and back-to-school events in August and September. SCHEDULES
Student schedules have been mailed so be looking for an envelope from Kealing Middle School.  Students who need a schedule change should attend one of the schedule verification days this week.

SUMMER BAND CAMP
Attention all Concert, Symphonic, and Wind Ensemble band members. (Beginning band members do not need to attend.) Summer Band will take place Monday, August 8 through Thursday, August 11 from 9-noon in the KMS Band Hall. There will be a Summer Band Concert Celebration on Thursday at 11:30 pm for all who would like to celebrate the new school year with us! We will have an ice cream social following the concert.

TRANSITION CAMP
New students are encouraged to attend transition camp.  Transition camps are designed to help new students learn about the school, meet new teachers and classmates, and learn their way around the campus. Transportation will be provided for Academy Camp and Magnet 6th Grade Camp. Check here for updates as the bus schedule will be included once it is finalized. No registration is required. We look forward to seeing all of our new Hornets in August!

ONLINE REGISTRATION
Online Registration is still available for the 2016-2017 school year. We are now at 64% registered online.  Staff will be available to help with online registration on August 10 for those who need support.  Keep them coming!

FIRST DAY PACKET VOLUNTEERS
Ms. Rivera, the Kealing Registrar, will be organizing First Day Packets on Monday, August 15, 2016 from 8:00 am - 11:00 am. We are looking for parent volunteers to help stuff envelopes. Click here to sign up if you are available to pitch in, even if only for part of the time.
